Hi, I'm Madelyn.

I'm sixteen years old, from Houston Texas. I made this website in honor of my mom, Karen Madaras, who battled stage four metastatic breast cancer for four years. She was the bravest person I've ever known.

I hope to make this website a place where people like my mom, faced with the indescribable fear and harrowing uncertainty of breast cancer, can find knowledge and community. I hope to help make each person's battle seem a little less daunting and overwhelming.

Throughout my mom's entire journey, she advocated for her health, and I believe that was a big part of her incredible fight. I believe that every single person should have the means and knowledge to advocate for their own health. So, in my website, I did my best to organize the complicated facets of breast cancer into categories to make the disease and its many presentations easy to understand. In the menu you will find information about each type of breast cancer, treatments, and more.

In the community tab in my website menu, you'll find a group of forums where women can come together and share their individual experiences . I hope to create a community of women who can support each other through their journeys, share their own stories, and discuss treatment plans and future options.

Finally, through my blog, I hope to share the promising progress of the breast cancer research field by describing new clinical trials to spread hope.

Our Mission

Inform and Educate

Fight Breast Cancer Together is dedicated to educating those with breast cancer about their disease, current treatment plan, and future treatment options. We believe that every person should have the means to advocate for their own health, and we hope to give women the knowledge to do so. We hope that through educating those with breast cancer, we can make each persons daunting journey  a little less overwhelming. Furthermore, we organize the complicated facets of breast cancer into categories to make the disease and its many presentations easy to understand.

Our Forum

Our forum allows the breast cancer community a place to come together and share their individual experiences and journies. We hope to create a community of women who can support each other through their individual journeys and share their own stories. Furthermore, we provide specific forums for each subtype of breast cancer, so that women can discuss their treatment plans and future options.

Our Blog

Our blog summarizes new and promising research and clinical trials relating to breast cancer. As most medical journals are difficult to understand, we describe these new novel treatment options in a way that anyone can understand, allowing you to learn more about current and future treatment options for your breast cancer.
